The new courses are led by Professor Alex Cowan, an entrepreneur and Darden faculty member who teaches classes in software design and development.
Among all MBA programs, Darden was one of only four business schools to have at least 10 Top 10 rankings across the ranked categories.

The $3 million gift, matched with an additional $1.5 million from the UVA Bicentennial Scholarship Fund, will create the $4.5 million Edward A. Watjen Bicentennial Scholarship Fund.
