Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning Launch New Blockchain/AI Program as Part of Fall 2023 Schedule

Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning (EELL) has announced its fall 2023 schedule of open enrollment programs, offering a mix of immersive in-person and convenient self-paced online options. Led by Darden’s top-ranked faculty, programs such as Women in Leadership, Managing Individual and Organizational Change and The Executive Program (TEP), help learners level up in their career, enhance team dynamics and performance, or lead organizational change.

Additionally, EELL will launch a new program, Unlocking Value of AI, Blockchain and Digital Assets, led by Professors Dennie Kim and Tim Laseter. The in-person program will run from 8-10 November at the UVA Darden DC Metro location in Arlington, Virginia. This hands-on learning experience will provide a better understanding of the impact of emerging disruptive technologies, how these technologies can transform business and society, and how to integrate new tech strategically and ethically. It counts toward the noncredit Certificate in Leadership and Management.

Participants for in-person programs in Charlottesville will be provided lodging at Darden’s new The Forum Hotel by Kimpton, located at the entrance to Darden Grounds, with access to the many hotel amenities, on-property dining options, and beautiful arboretum and botanical gardens.

Noncredit Certificate Programs for Leaders at Every Level

Certificate in Leadership & Management introduces current and future leaders to a broad field of management specialties and leadership capabilities. Programs are offered in-person at Darden Grounds in Charlottesville, Virginia, and UVA Darden DC Metro in Arlington, Virginia, and online. Fall programs that count toward the Leadership & Management Certificate include:

  • Leading Teams for Growth and Change | In-Person | 25-29 September
  • Managing Individual and Organizational Change | In-Person | 2-5 October
  • The Executive Program (TEP) | In-Person | Starts 15 October

Certificate in Corporate Aviation Management helps learners develop the leadership and operational acumen vital to corporate aviation personnel and managers. One of the three in-person programs in the certificate series, Leading Change in the Corporate Aviation Function runs 14-17 November in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Two online certificate programs are available for a 1 August or 1 October start date, each consisting of three modules that learners may take together over four months or as separate five-week modules to complete at their pace.
