Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning Unveils Spring 2023 Schedule, New Effective Decision Making Program

Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning (EELL) has announced its spring 2023 schedule of open enrollment programs, offering a mix of in-person, live virtual and self-paced online options. Led by Darden’s top-ranked faculty, programs give learners the skills they need to advance their leadership capabilities and careers with programs such as Leading Teams for Growth and Change, Servant Leadership and Leading Mindfully.

Additionally, EELL will launch a new program, Effective Decision Making led by Professors Manel Baucells and Sasa Zorc. The in-person program will run from 22-25 May 2023 at the UVA Darden DC Metro location in Arlington, Virginia. This interactive learning experience will provide a framework to make better decisions using the fundamentals of behavioral decision making and game theory.  It counts toward the noncredit Certificate in Leadership and Management.

“These experiential programs are designed to help leaders navigate today’s complex business challenges,” said Anne Trumbore, Chief Digital Learning Officer of Darden’s Sands Institute of Lifelong Learning. “Through our signature transformational learning experiences, participants will emerge better equipped to guide their organization through the great resignation, lead initiatives to strategically leverage AI and build more resilient teams.”

Noncredit Certificate Programs in Leadership & Management, Business Strategy, and Corporate Aviation Management

Certificate in Leadership & Management introduces current and future leaders to a broad field of management specialties and leadership capabilities. Programs are offered in-person at Darden Grounds in Charlottesville, Virginia, and UVA Darden DC Metro in Arlington, Virginia, and online. Certificate in Corporate Aviation Management helps learners develop the leadership and operational acumen vital to corporate aviation personnel and managers. One of the three in-person programs in the certificate series, Managing the Corporate Aviation Function starts 19 March in Charlottesville, Virginia.

EELL is also accepting applications for The Executive Program, its immersive advanced management program for top leaders.  Beginning 15 October 2023, The Executive Program includes two, two-week in-person immersion modules with nationally renowned guest speakers and guided wellness activities.  Participants earn alumni status.
