Franklin Family Bridges Darden-Law Legacy: A Symbol of Lasting Connection and Philanthropy at UVA

The University of Virginia Darden School of Business and the UVA School of Law have a close relationship. On 2 October, the Franklin family, whose name is synonymous with the schools’ close relationship, celebrated the unveiling of a bridge symbolically linking them. The arboretum and botanical gardens on Darden Grounds now feature the Carl Mason Franklin (1911-2004) Footbridge and two benches in honor of his sons, Laurence C. "Larry" Franklin and Sterling C. Franklin. These additions are a testament to the significant contributions of the Morris S. Smith Foundation. Read More
