Executive Education Programs Take Home Management Development Awards

Two Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning custom programs, Executive IQ and the Executive Leadership Development Program, took home gold and bronze awards at the annual Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management Awards last month. The awards recognize excellence in categories including human resource strategy, future of work, talent management, leadership development, and learning and development.

Darden creates customized Executive Education programs to equip  leaders and teams with the knowledge, skills and purpose to address specific organizational and industry challenges.

The Executive IQ program, sponsored by Money Management Institute (MMI) and led in collaboration with educational partners at Microsoft and PwC, won Gold awards for Best Advance in Leadership Development Program and Best Association Professional Development Program. The Executive IQ program is a 15-month innovation accelerator for senior leaders in the financial services industry.

“Executive IQ delivers a unique combination of learning approaches, all of which are focused on preparing leaders with a fresh mindset to address the speed, scope, and nature of the unprecedented disruption facing financial services,” said Tim Williams, Director of Education Initiatives for MMI and Program Director for Executive IQ. “We are honored to be recognized in two competitive categories and are grateful to our participants for leaving an indelible mark on the program and, of course, to our partners at Darden, PWC and Microsoft whose collective talents help prepare these executives for tomorrow’s opportunities.”

The Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP), presented in partnership with the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), won a Bronze award for Best Advance in Leadership Development for Racial/Ethnic Minorities. The ELDP is an eight-month learning journey designed to help solve some of the industry’s most persistent diversity challenges.

Competition included other prominent business schools and multiple entries by global consulting companies.
