The 2012 TEP class includes a diverse group of executives from 22 different organizations as far afield as New Zealand, Ireland, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan, as well as Canada and the United States. The groups represent the industries of energy, retail, government, medicine, construction, higher education, finance and software development, among others.

“Darden Executive Education has long served as a critical resource for executives and businesses around the world,” says Trip Davis, president of the Darden School Foundation and senior associate dean for external relations. “Through real-life business case studies led by Darden’s highly acclaimed faculty and experiential learning, The Executive Program prepares executives for a new level of leadership.”

Darden’s flagship Executive Education program, TEP is a four-week residency program that takes place every June and is designed for top executives who have attained, or are about to attain, significant general management roles. Based on an integrated study of strategy, innovation, leadership, change, growth, decision making, the global economy, processes, networks and executive wellness, TEP is designed for senior-level executives with 20–25 years or more work experience and at least 12 years as senior managers or company officers.

In the 2012 Financial Times open-enrollment survey, Darden Executive Education once again earned a top spot as the No. 5 global provider of programs. This year marks the ninth consecutive year that Darden Executive Education has earned a position in the FT survey as a Top Five global provider.
