Darden Students Announce Award Winners, Graduation Speakers

The Class of 2024 of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business recently announced recipients of multiple honors at its spring awards ceremonies.

The Full-Time MBA Class elected Matt Ganyard (Class of 2024) as student graduation speaker, and elected the following as faculty marshals: Peter Belmi, Marc Lipson, Elena Loutskina and Bobby Parmar.

Executive MBA students elected Anthony Ranghelli (Class of 2024) as student graduation speaker, and faculty marshals will be Yael Grushka-Cockayne and Daniel Murphy.

Darden’s Academic Regalia Ceremony is scheduled for 18 May on Darden Grounds, and UVA’s Final Exercises ceremony including Darden is scheduled for 19 May on the Lawn.

  • Theo Herbert International Award: Ines de Estrada
  • Kitty Smiley Friend of the Student Award: Larry McGruder and Holly Middaugh
  • Faculty Diversity Award: Bo Sun 
  • Outstanding Faculty Award: Anthony Palomba
