UVA Darden Offers Updated Deadlines for Round 3 Full-Time MBA Admission Decisions
By Dave Hendrick
The University of Virginia Darden School of Business is adjusting its application deadlines for the Class of 2025, offering continued flexibility to prospective students planning to apply to the Full-Time MBA program in the School’s final round of admission.
In lieu of the traditional Round 3 deadline of 5 April, the School will move to rolling deadlines and decision releases for the final round, offering prospective students the ability to apply and learn of their decision more quickly.
Beginning immediately, the new deadlines for Round 3 admission are:
- 1 March, with decision notification by 31 March
- 1 April, with decision notification by 30 April
- 1 May, with decision notification by 31 May
Darden may continue to consider applications after 1 May.
All admitted students will be notified of any scholarship award at the time of admission decision release.
“Amid rapid changes in the employment market, it’s clear that there are many prospective students who are reconsidering an MBA — or exploring the degree for the first time,” said Senior Assistant Dean of Admissions Dawna Clarke. “These changes to our traditional Round 3 are simply an effort to accommodate our applicants, offering the potential security of admission to a top MBA program on the timeline that works best for them.”
Darden remains committed to test flexibility in the application process, and accepts scores from a range of standardized tests. Additionally, students who are able to present strong alternative evidence of their ability to thrive in the Darden community may apply for a test waiver.
The Darden Admissions team will be meeting with prospective students globally and in locations across the United States beginning 18 January. View the full list of locations and register to attend an Admissions event.
