Thinkers50 Names UVA Darden Professor to List of ‘Thinkers Who Will Shape Future of Business’
By Jay Hodgkins
University of Virginia Darden School of Business Professor Morela Hernandez, who was recently named the School’s Donald and Lauren Morel Emerging Scholar in Business Administration, added another accolade on 4 February: She was one of 30 people named to the 2020 Thinkers50 Radar list.
The Radar list showcases “up and coming management thinkers” from around the world “whose work will shape the future of how organizations are managed and led,” according to Thinkers50. Thinkers50 identifies, ranks and shares top management ideas and provides a global ranking of management thinkers every two years.
On Thinkers50’s Radar list profile page for Hernandez, the organization called her an “ethical expert with real world experience.” With research focusing on the ethics of leadership, Hernandez is seeking to answer questions around why leaders act the ways they do, the role of diversity in decision-making and how biases impact organizational systems.
