Darden Students Tell Us Their Why

By Jay Hodgkins

At the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, students are encouraged to pursue their “why” — their personal challenge — to develop the modern leader within. The Darden MBA empowers students to follow their purpose in order to spawn career-long success that accompanies a deeper sense of meaning in their work.

Rising Second Year students Pravanjan Das and Carlos Bortoni arrived at Darden with a well-defined understanding of their “why,” and recently shared the stories that helped them find their purpose and come to Darden in order to put their why to work.
