Financial Times Ranks Darden Executive Education No. 4 in the World, No. 1 for Faculty and Course Design
Based on support from the School and its dynamic network as well as the success of alumni entrepreneurs, Darden landed near the top of Financial Times’ entrepreneurship rankings.
Darden Executive Education’s open-enrollment program rose to No. 4 in the world in the Financial Times 2016 Executive Education rankings.
The ranking represents a significant jump from the prior year’s position, when Darden Executive Education’s open-enrollment program ranked No. 11. Delivered by the University of Virginia Darden School Foundation and taught by the Darden School of Business’ highly acclaimed faculty, Darden Executive Education’s open-enrollment program also took the No. 1 spot in six key categories:
No. 1 — Faculty (for the third year in a row)
No. 1 — Facilities (for the second year in a row)
No. 1 — Teaching methods and materials
No. 1 — Course design
No. 1 — Preparation
No. 1 — Food and accommodation
Darden Executive Education is also ranked No. 4 for Aims achieved.
In total, Darden Executive Education improved or maintained its No. 1 position in all open-enrollment categories measured by program participant ratings. The FT ranking is based on both participant ratings and data provided by schools.
“These ratings indicate participants’ high satisfaction with our open programs and are additional proof points that Darden delivers the world’s best education experience,” said Darden Dean Scott Beardsley. “Executive Education will continue to play a critical role in Darden’s mission to develop global and responsible leaders who step forward to improve the world.”
