Bloomberg Businessweek: UVA Darden Top 10 Globally for Program Quality, Helpful Alumni Network
Bloomberg Businessweek revealed new data from its business school alumni surveys used in its Best B-Schools 2018 ranking, and Darden a pair of Top 10 global ratings.
Bloomberg Businessweek has revealed new data from its business school alumni surveys used in its Best B-Schools 2018 ranking, and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business landed in the Top 10 in two key survey categories.
Darden landed the No. 4 rating globally based on its high survey score on the question: “I would recommend my school to a friend because of the quality of its academic program.”
The School rated No. 7 globally for “My school’s alumni network has helped me build my career.” The dynamic, global Darden network includes more than 16,000 alumni working in more than 90 countries.
In the full Best B-Schools 2018 ranking released by Bloomberg Businessweek in November 2018, Darden was ranked No. 9 overall. The School’s overall ranking rose from the previous year, driven by the strong career outcomes of recent graduates and an “extremely positive” rating from most survey participants related to the School’s climate for women; racial, religious and ethnic minorities; people of all sexual orientations and gender identities; international students; and people with disabilities.
In June, Bloomberg Businessweek revealed highlights from the student survey component of its B-school ranking, revealing that Darden was rated No. 1 for “My instructors were inspiring and supportive.”
