Darden Final Exercises Weekend 2025: What to Know

The University of Virginia Darden School of Business will celebrate the Class of 2025 during UVA Final Exercises Weekend, 16–18 May.

Key Events:

  • Saturday, 17 May:
    • 11 a.m. – Darden Academic Regalia Ceremony (Flagler Court)
    • 12:30 p.m. – Sherwood Frey Graduation Picnic
  • Sunday, 18 May:
    • 9 a.m. – UVA Final Exercises (The Lawn)

Tickets & Viewing:

  • No tickets required for the Darden ceremony on Flagler Court.
  • UVA Final Exercises require tickets: six per graduate for The Lawn ceremony or three if relocated to John Paul Jones Arena due to weather.
  • Livestreams will be available online and in select Darden classrooms.

Parking:

  • Each graduate receives one D10 garage parking pass (valid for both days).
  • ADA and overflow parking available in the D1 lot.

Weather Plan:

  • In case of severe weather, the Darden ceremony may shift to Sunday or move indoors to North Grounds Recreation Center (ticket required).
  • The picnic will move inside if needed.

More:

  • A class photo will be taken after the ceremony; Grad Images will provide individual photos.
  • Program booklets will be available at both ceremonies.
