The University of Virginia Darden School of Business sign now shines bright in the Washington, D.C., area.

The new UVA Darden sign was completed in early July, shortly after the School officially opened the doors of the Sands Family Grounds — its new, state-of-the-art facility in the Rosslyn district of Arlington, Virginia — in early March after completion of the first phase of construction.

Students from the Rosslyn section of the Executive MBA Class of 2018 were the first to use the new space and hold class in the 31st floor tiered classroom with sweeping views of the capital area. The second phase of construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of summer 2018, fully opening both the 30th and 31st floors of the Sands Family Grounds before new students begin in the inaugural class of the new UVA master of science in business analytics program and the Executive MBA Class of 2020.
